I am asking myself a question...what is Islam?this question is the core of my message to all of you-my dear friends - all over the world, so i will answer this question as a Muslim human not as a specialist in religious work
Islam means to depend on the God in all the fields of your life because God is the creator so he is the only one who knows things which may harm you and that is useful for you...so we find in Quran that God orders us to do good deeds and prohibits bad deeds and sins ..so when we do so (obey the rules and recommendations of God ) we will gain happiness and peace here and in the after world we may gain the paradise or lose ourselves and so God punishes us and throws us in the hell...so I think that ISLAM means to obey your God
and live as faithful and peaceful as you can with all humans whatever their religion , nationality or color
So Islam is too simple and too lovely ..read this
O mankind! I have created you from male and female and made you into nations and tribes , that you may know one another .Verily , the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer)who is the pious.Verily Allah is the All-Knower , Well-Acquainted (with all things)...surah 49 verse 13
